We have some bittersweet news for you!

For the last couple of years (since 2021) we have enjoyed the challenge and opportunity to teach you in our drama classes and workshops in Papakura and online. We’ve got to know you, watched you grow creatively, and seen you dramatically express yourselves.

We’d planned to continue offering classes again from Term 2 this year but some ongoing health challenges make this unfeasible. Because of this 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗱.

We know that this will be disappointing to many of our @followers who have enjoyed doing drama with us, and we are sorry to break this news to you. We hope the time we’ve spent together has been exciting and worthwhile for you. It certainly has been for us!

We also hope that you’ll continue to find enjoyment in drama. To that end, 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 & 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼, 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. Every drama class is different and you’ll only know if it’s for you by giving it a go!

For a range of homeschool classes for all ages that in the past has occasionally included drama (along with a good range of options for 13+ if you’re looking for youth connections) on a Wednesday in Ardmore.

And lastly, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺, 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. All are a culmination of homeschool families working together to build something unique.

Each production is written and directed by Douglas and has a cast of approximately 18 homeschool students. They’re consistently high-quality productions, and we encourage you to support these communities. We guarantee that you will come away feeling inspired! You’ll also recognise some of our Drama South students on stage.
